  • Wheelchair users must transfer into the attraction vehicle (alone or with assistance) - must be accompanied by at least one able-bodied person aged 15 or over

  • Authorization to ride the attraction depends on the type of limb atrophy you have (a full list is available from City Hall, Donald Desk, Studio Services and the Central Reservations Office)
  • Suitable for guests with a learning disability, autism, behavioural disorder or mental health disorder - must be accompanied by an able-bodied person aged 15 or over
  • Suitable for visually impaired guests
  • Suitable for blind guests - must be accompanied by an able-bodied adult aged 15 or over
  • Suitable for hearing impaired guests
  • Suitable for guests with a debilitating illness or temporary physical impairment

Due to the nature of the experience, service animals are not permitted on this attraction.

Guest Policies

  • WARNING! For safety, this ride is not recommended for visitors with problems which might be worsened (such as spinal problems), in particular those wearing surgical collars and anyone susceptible to petrol fumes
  • Supervise children at all times. Children under age 7 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Persons who do not meet the minimum height requirement of 81 cm may not ride
  • To drive an autopia car alone, you must be at least 1m32tall. Long clothing or accessories, such as scarves, must be secured or left with a non-rider
  • Expectant Mothers may not ride
  • Authorization to ride the attraction depends on the type of limb impairment. Guests should check with a Cast Member at City Hall or Studio Services
  • Number of Guests with a learning disability, mental health disorder, behavioral disorder or autism allowed onto the attraction as a group accompanied by at least one helper: 1

Autopia®: Drivers, Start Your Engines!

Take the wheel of a futuristic car, as envisaged by inventors in the 1950s, and accelerate your way along a winding, picturesque route. Make sure you strap yourself in, as you zoom around or take it easy with a casual countryside cruise in this celebration of automobile utopia.

Safety First

Featuring a working accelerator pedal and steering wheel, your car can easily navigate up and down inclines and around sharp bends just like the real thing. Need a brake? Just take your foot off the accelerator to slow down. As a safeguard, a guide rail is located underneath the vehicle and the car is equipped with front and rear bumpers. Our professional pit crew is also always available to give you a hand.

Designed for Smaller Drivers

Drivers who are at least 52 inches (132 cm) tall can strap in and drive their own car. Additionally, Guests who are at least 32 inches (81 cm) tall are also allowed to drive as long as they are accompanied by someone who is at least 52 inches (132 cm) tall.
